An occlusion device is provided to occlude a left atrial appendage. The device includes at least one anchor moveable between a delivery configuration and a deployed configuration, and an occlusion assembly having a plurality of elongate occluding filaments extending in a direction away from the at least one anchor. Each of the plurality of elongate occluding filaments is configured to move from a radially compressed configuration into a radially expanded configuration for occluding and sealing the left atrial appendage.
