SPEAKER BOX - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18525898 titled 'SPEAKER BOX

The present disclosure reveals a speaker box with a unique design for improved drop reliability.

  • The speaker box includes a housing with a receiving space and a speaker unit enclosed in the receiving space.
  • The housing and speaker unit create a front cavity and a rear cavity that are isolated from each other.
  • A mesh in the rear cavity forms a filling chamber for sound-absorbing particles, covered by a steel sheet bottom with a protrusion connected to the mesh.
  • A damping member is sandwiched between the mesh and the yoke for enhanced performance.
  • This innovative design enhances the durability and reliability of the speaker box.

Potential Applications: - Audio systems - Home entertainment systems - Automotive sound systems

Problems Solved: - Improved drop reliability - Enhanced sound quality through sound-absorbing particles

Benefits: - Increased durability - Enhanced sound performance - Improved user experience

Commercial Applications: Title: Enhanced Speaker Box for Superior Sound Quality This technology can be used in various commercial applications such as home audio systems, car audio systems, and professional sound equipment, catering to audiophiles and music enthusiasts.

Questions about the Enhanced Speaker Box: 1. How does the protrusion connected to the mesh improve the speaker box's performance? The protrusion helps secure the mesh in place, ensuring the proper containment of sound-absorbing particles for enhanced sound quality.

2. What makes the damping member crucial in the design of the speaker box? The damping member plays a vital role in reducing vibrations and enhancing sound clarity by absorbing excess energy within the speaker box.

Original Abstract Submitted

The present disclosure discloses a speaker box including a housing having a receiving space and a speaker unit received in the receiving space. The housing and the speaker unit encloses a front cavity and a rear cavity isolated from each other. A mesh disposed in the rear cavity is configured to enclose a filling chamber with the bottom cover for filling sound-absorbing particles. A steel sheet of the bottom cover includes a protrusion connected to the mesh. And, a damping member opposite to the protrusion is sandwiched between the mesh and the yoke; the speaker box in the present disclosure has higher drop reliability.
