SHAPING MATERIAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18519199 titled 'SHAPING MATERIAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Simplified Explanation
The patent application describes a material management system for a resin shaping system, which includes a storage unit, an acquisition unit, a determination unit, and a screen generation unit.
- The storage unit stores material lot identification information and material lot state information.
- The acquisition unit acquires the material lot information from the storage unit.
- The determination unit decides whether to restrict input of the material lot based on its state information.
- The screen generation unit generates an operation screen, partially restricting operations if needed.
Potential Applications
This technology could be applied in industries utilizing resin shaping systems, such as manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and medical device production.
Problems Solved
This system helps in efficiently managing and controlling the input of materials into resin shaping systems, ensuring only suitable material lots are used, which can prevent errors and improve overall production quality.
Benefits
The benefits of this technology include improved quality control, reduced material waste, increased operational efficiency, and enhanced productivity in resin shaping processes.
Potential Commercial Applications
- "Enhancing Material Management in Resin Shaping Systems for Improved Efficiency and Quality Control"
Possible Prior Art
There may be prior art related to material management systems in manufacturing processes, but specific examples are not provided in this context.
Unanswered Questions
How does this system handle material lot identification information securely?
The patent application does not detail the specific security measures in place to protect the material lot identification information stored in the system.
What is the cost-effectiveness of implementing this material management system in a resin shaping facility?
The application does not discuss the cost implications or return on investment of integrating this technology into existing resin shaping systems.
Original Abstract Submitted
A shaping material management system for managing a material used in a resin shaping system includes a storage unit configured to store material lot identification information and material lot state information including information as to whether a material lot is able to be input to the resin shaping system, an acquisition unit configured to acquire the material lot identification information and the material lot state information from the storage unit, a determination unit configured to determine whether to restrict input of the material lot to the resin shaping system based on the material lot state information acquired by the acquisition unit, and a screen generation unit configured to generate an operation. When the determination unit determines to restrict the input of the material lot to the resin shaping system, operations are partially restricted on the operation screen generated by the screen generation unit.
