Electric Work Vehicle - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18517765 titled 'Electric Work Vehicle

The abstract describes an electric work vehicle with a unique three-point link mechanism that allows for the swinging up and down of a second detachable battery.

  • The electric work vehicle has a body for travel, accommodating a first battery.
  • A three-point link mechanism (T) is connected to the rear section of the body and can swing up and down.
  • A drive device is used to drive the three-point link mechanism to swing.
  • A second battery is detachably attached to the three-point link mechanism, switchable between a lowered state in contact with the ground and a raised state above the ground.

Potential Applications: - This technology could be used in various industrial settings where electric work vehicles are required to operate efficiently. - It could also be utilized in agricultural applications where a versatile work vehicle is needed.

Problems Solved: - The innovation solves the problem of limited battery life in electric work vehicles by providing a detachable second battery that can be easily switched out when needed. - It also addresses the issue of ground clearance by allowing the battery to be raised above the ground surface.

Benefits: - Increased operational efficiency due to the ability to quickly switch out batteries. - Improved maneuverability and adaptability in different work environments. - Enhanced safety with the option to raise the battery above the ground surface.

Commercial Applications: - The electric work vehicle with the innovative three-point link mechanism could find applications in construction, landscaping, and warehouse operations. - It could also be used in farming and agriculture for tasks such as plowing, seeding, and harvesting.

Questions about the technology: 1. How does the three-point link mechanism enhance the functionality of the electric work vehicle? 2. What are the potential cost savings associated with using a detachable second battery in this vehicle?

Original Abstract Submitted

An electric work vehicle includes a body configured to travel; a first battery accommodated in the body a three-point link mechanism T connected to a rear section of the body in such a manner as to be swingable up and down; a drive device configured to drive the three-point link mechanism T to swing; and a second battery detachably attached to the three-point link mechanism T. The second battery is switchable, by swinging of the three-point link mechanism T, between a lowered state, in which the second battery is in contact with a ground surface, and a raised state, in which the battery is raised above the ground surface.
