Original Abstract Submitted

A printing apparatus capable of executing printing based on a flat-rate use service, the printing apparatus includes: a first connection unit for first connection which is between a printing apparatus and a first apparatus and for which a first method is used; a second connection unit for second connection which is between the printing apparatus and a second apparatus and for which a second method is used; a detection unit which detects that the second connection has been established; and a control unit which causes the printing apparatus to operate in a predetermined mode for performing setting for establishing the first connection. Even if it is detected while the printing apparatus is operating in the predetermined mode that the second connection has been established, the control unit causes the printing apparatus to continue operation in the predetermined mode.
