The side structure of the vehicle includes: a roof rail, which is disposed on an outer upper section of the vehicle and extends along a vehicle front-rear direction; pillars, which extend downward from the roof rail in a vehicle up-down direction; and an outer member, which covers outer sides of the roof rail and the pillars in a vehicle width direction. The outer member is formed with inclined sides that are inclined upward in the vehicle up-down direction and toward a door opening side.
