INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18510428 titled 'INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM

Simplified Explanation

The patent application describes an information processing apparatus that acquires physical makeup information of objects based on images obtained from multiple directions and generates motion information associated with the physical makeup of the objects.

  • The apparatus acquires physical makeup information of objects by imaging them with multiple imaging apparatuses.
  • Motion information of the objects' parts is obtained and used to generate motion information associated with the physical makeup information.
  • The apparatus can analyze and compare physical makeup and motion information of different objects to generate relevant data.

Potential Applications

This technology can be applied in:

  • Robotics for object recognition and motion planning.
  • Virtual reality for realistic object interactions.
  • Medical imaging for analyzing anatomical structures and movements.

Problems Solved

  • Improved object recognition and motion analysis.
  • Enhanced virtual reality experiences.
  • More accurate medical imaging and diagnosis.

Benefits

  • Increased efficiency in object analysis and motion prediction.
  • Enhanced user experience in virtual reality applications.
  • Improved accuracy in medical imaging for better diagnosis.

Original Abstract Submitted

An information processing apparatus acquires first physical makeup information representing a physical makeup of a first object. The first physical makeup information is information generated based on images obtained by imaging the first object with a plurality of imaging apparatuses in a plurality of directions. The information processing apparatus acquires second physical makeup information representing a physical makeup of a second object and motion information representing motion of a plurality of parts of the second object. The information processing apparatus generates motion information associated with the first physical makeup information based on the second physical makeup information and the motion information relating to the second object.
