This application discloses a wearable device and a method for controlling the wearable device. The wearable device includes a wearable body, a wearable band, a first antenna module and a second antenna module, where the wearable body is connected to the wearable band; the first antenna module is disposed on the wearable body, and the second antenna module is disposed on the wearable band; and a phase difference between the first antenna module and the second antenna module is adjustable, so that a directivity pattern of an antenna array is adjustable, where the antenna array includes the first antenna module and the second antenna module; and the first antenna module is an active antenna module, and the second antenna module is a passive antenna module.
