Original Abstract Submitted
A magnet insertion device is used to manufacture a rotor. The rotor includes a laminated iron core that has magnet accommodating holes and includes magnets respectively accommodated in the magnet accommodating holes. The magnet insertion device includes a magazine that accommodates the magnets, an insertion mechanism configured to hold the magnets extracted out of the magazine and respectively insert the magnets into the magnet accommodating holes, a collection container, and circuitry. The circuitry is configured to control the insertion mechanism to, when the insertion mechanism holds the magnet during type switching for switching a type of the rotor manufactured using the magnet insertion device, transfer the magnet to the collection container.
