WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD, FIRST TERMINAL DEVICE, AND SECOND TERMINAL DEVICE - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18436174 titled 'WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD, FIRST TERMINAL DEVICE, AND SECOND TERMINAL DEVICE
Simplified Explanation
The abstract describes a method for wireless communication that involves receiving channel state information reference signals (CSI-RSs) using spatial domain receiving filters, measuring the CSI-RSs to obtain measurement results, and determining a target spatial domain receiving filter for a terminal device to receive sidelink data based on the measurement results.
- Explanation:
- CSI-RSs are received using spatial domain receiving filters - Measurement results of CSI-RSs are obtained - Target spatial domain receiving filter for terminal device is determined
Potential Applications: - 5G and beyond wireless communication systems - Internet of Things (IoT) devices requiring efficient wireless communication
Problems Solved: - Enhancing communication reliability and efficiency - Optimizing signal reception for terminal devices
Benefits: - Improved data transmission quality - Enhanced network performance - Better connectivity for devices
Potential Commercial Applications: - Telecommunications companies - IoT device manufacturers - Wireless networking equipment providers
Possible Prior Art: - Prior art related to spatial domain filtering in wireless communication systems - Previous methods for determining target receiving filters for terminal devices
Unanswered Questions: 1. How does the method handle interference from other wireless devices in the vicinity? 2. Are there any limitations to the number of CSI-RSs that can be processed simultaneously?
Original Abstract Submitted
A method for wireless communication includes that: a plurality of channel state information reference signals (CSI-RSs) are received using a plurality of spatial domain receiving filters respectively; the plurality of CSI-RSs are measured to obtain measurement results of the plurality of CSI-RSs; and a target spatial domain receiving filter for a first terminal device to receive sidelink data is determined based on the measurement results of the plurality of CSI-RSs and from the plurality of spatial domain receiving filters. A first terminal device and a second terminal device are also provided.
