LIGHT-EMITTING ELEMENT INK, DISPLAY DEVICE, AND METHOD OF FABRICATING THE DISPLAY DEVICE - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18433201 titled 'LIGHT-EMITTING ELEMENT INK, DISPLAY DEVICE, AND METHOD OF FABRICATING THE DISPLAY DEVICE
Simplified Explanation
The abstract describes a light-emitting element ink, a display device, and a method of fabricating the display device. The ink contains light-emitting elements dispersed in a solvent, with each element consisting of semiconductor layers surrounded by an insulating film and a surfactant containing fluorine-based and/or silicon-based components.
- Light-emitting element ink for display devices:
- Contains light-emitting elements in a solvent - Elements have semiconductor layers and insulating films - Surfactant in the ink includes fluorine-based and/or silicon-based components
- Display device fabrication method:
- Utilizes the light-emitting element ink described above - Likely involves printing or coating processes - May involve layering and curing steps
Potential Applications
The technology could be used in: - OLED displays - Flexible displays - Lighting applications
Problems Solved
- Improved efficiency of light-emitting elements - Enhanced durability of display devices - Potential for cost-effective manufacturing processes
Benefits
- Brighter and more vibrant displays - Longer-lasting display devices - Environmentally friendly materials
Potential Commercial Applications
"Light-Emitting Element Ink for Advanced Display Technologies"
Possible Prior Art
There may be prior art related to: - Light-emitting element inks - Display device fabrication methods
Unanswered Questions
1. What specific types of display devices can benefit from this technology? 2. How does the presence of fluorine-based and silicon-based surfactants impact the performance of the light-emitting elements?
Original Abstract Submitted
A light-emitting element ink, a display device, and a method of fabricating the display device are provided. The light-emitting element ink includes a light-emitting element solvent, light-emitting elements dispersed in the light-emitting element solvent, each of the light-emitting elements including a plurality of semiconductor layers and an insulating film that surrounds parts of outer surfaces of the semiconductor layers, and a surfactant dispersed in the light-emitting element solvent, the surfactant including a fluorine-based and/or a silicon-based surfactant.
