REFRIGERATOR - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18419425 titled 'REFRIGERATOR

Simplified Explanation: The patent application describes a refrigerator design that eliminates the need for a separate partition between the upper and lower compartments, reducing costs and increasing productivity.

Key Features and Innovation:

  • The refrigerator includes two inner cases that form separate storage compartments without the need for a partition.
  • Injection-molded plates are used in the construction of the inner cases.
  • An outer case forms the exterior of the refrigerator.
  • Insulation is placed between the inner cases and the outer case, as well as between the two inner cases.
  • A cold air guide between the inner cases creates a cold air flow path between the compartments.

Potential Applications: This technology can be applied in the manufacturing of refrigerators for residential, commercial, and industrial use.

Problems Solved: The design reduces storage, logistics, and production costs associated with traditional refrigerators that require a separate partition.

Benefits:

  • Cost reduction in storage, logistics, and production.
  • Increased productivity.
  • Simplified design and construction process.

Commercial Applications: The technology can be utilized by refrigerator manufacturers to streamline production processes and reduce overall costs, potentially leading to more competitive pricing in the market.

Prior Art: Readers can explore prior patents related to refrigerator design and construction to understand the evolution of this technology.

Frequently Updated Research: Stay informed about advancements in refrigerator design and energy efficiency to enhance the performance of this technology.

Questions about Refrigerator Design: 1. What are the key advantages of eliminating the partition in the refrigerator design? 2. How does the use of injection-molded plates contribute to the innovation in this technology?

Original Abstract Submitted

Disclosed is a refrigerator that does not include a separate partition member disposed between an upper inner case and a lower inner case to reduce storage costs, logistics costs, and production costs, and to increase productivity. The refrigerator includes n first and second inner cases forming a first and second storage compartments and including a plurality of first and second plates each formed by injection molding; an outer case coupled to an outer side of the first and second inner cases to form an exterior of the refrigerator; an insulation provided between the first and second inner cases and the outer case and between the first inner case and the second inner case; and a cold air guide surrounded by the insulation between the first and second inner cases, and configured to form a cold air flow path communicating the first and second storage compartments.
