HIGH-FREQUENCY POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18396693 titled 'HIGH-FREQUENCY POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM

The high-frequency power supply system described in the patent application consists of two power supplies and two matchers. The second power supply utilizes pulse modulation to alternate between outputting a forward wave voltage and not outputting it. The first power supply, on the other hand, controls frequency modulation during the second power supply's ON period and outputs a forward wave voltage with a specific fundamental frequency during the OFF period.

  • The system includes two power supplies and two matchers.
  • The second power supply uses pulse modulation to control the output of the forward wave voltage.
  • The first power supply performs frequency modulation during specific periods to output a forward wave voltage with a predetermined fundamental frequency.

Potential Applications: - This technology could be used in high-frequency power supply systems for various industrial applications. - It may find applications in telecommunications, medical equipment, and other fields requiring precise power supply control.

Problems Solved: - Provides a more efficient and controlled method of power supply in high-frequency systems. - Allows for precise frequency and voltage control, improving overall system performance.

Benefits: - Enhanced power supply control and efficiency. - Improved performance and reliability in high-frequency applications.

Commercial Applications: Title: High-Frequency Power Supply System for Industrial Applications This technology could be utilized in industries such as telecommunications, medical equipment manufacturing, and research laboratories for high-frequency power supply needs.

Questions about High-Frequency Power Supply Systems: 1. How does pulse modulation improve power supply efficiency in high-frequency systems? Pulse modulation allows for precise control over the output of the forward wave voltage, leading to improved efficiency in power supply systems.

2. What are the key advantages of frequency modulation in power supply control? Frequency modulation enables the system to output a forward wave voltage with a specific fundamental frequency, enhancing performance and reliability.

Original Abstract Submitted

A high-frequency power supply system according to the present disclosure includes a first power supply, a second power supply, a first matcher, and a second matcher. The second power supply performs pulse modulation of repeating an ON operation of outputting a second forward wave voltage and an OFF operation of not outputting the second forward wave voltage are repeated. The first power supply performs frequency modulation control in a second power supply ON period, and outputs a first forward wave voltage having a first fundamental frequency in a second power supply OFF period.
