Original Abstract Submitted

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a configuration message that indicates a radio resource allocation and a transmission scheme for one or more first configured grant—small data transfer (CG-SDT) occasions and one or more second CG-SDT occasions. The one or more second CG-SDT occasions are at least partially nested, in time, frequency, or a combination thereof, within the one or more first CG-SDT occasions. The UE may therefore transmit, to the base station, an uplink communication within the one or more first CG-SDT occasions or the one or more second CG-SDT occasions, using the radio resource allocation and the transmission scheme. Numerous other aspects are provided.
