LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18394010 titled 'LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS

Simplified Explanation: The liquid discharge apparatus described in the patent application includes a liquid discharge portion, a maintenance portion, a reception portion, and a waste liquid flow path. The apparatus is designed to discharge liquid, perform maintenance on the discharge portion, receive waste liquid dripping from the maintenance portion, and guide the waste liquid to the waste liquid flow path.

Key Features and Innovation:

  • Liquid discharge portion discharges liquid in a direction intersecting with the vertical direction.
  • Maintenance portion performs maintenance on the liquid discharge portion.
  • Reception portion receives waste liquid and guides it to the waste liquid flow path.
  • Waste liquid flow path allows the waste liquid to flow away from the apparatus.
  • Communication path in the reception portion guides the waste liquid to the waste liquid flow path.

Potential Applications: The liquid discharge apparatus can be used in various industries where liquid discharge and waste management are essential, such as manufacturing, food processing, and chemical production.

Problems Solved: The apparatus addresses the issue of waste liquid dripping from the maintenance portion by providing a reception portion and waste liquid flow path to efficiently manage the waste liquid.

Benefits:

  • Efficient waste liquid management
  • Prevents waste liquid from accumulating around the apparatus
  • Easy maintenance of the liquid discharge portion

Commercial Applications: The liquid discharge apparatus can be used in industrial settings where liquid discharge is common, improving waste management practices and ensuring a cleaner working environment.

Questions about Liquid Discharge Apparatus: 1. What industries can benefit from using the liquid discharge apparatus? 2. How does the communication path in the reception portion help guide waste liquid to the waste liquid flow path?

Frequently Updated Research: There may be ongoing research in the field of waste liquid management and industrial equipment maintenance that could impact the design and functionality of the liquid discharge apparatus.

Original Abstract Submitted

A liquid discharge apparatus includes a liquid discharge portion configured to discharge liquid, a maintenance portion that performs maintenance of the liquid discharge portion, a reception portion arranged on a lower side than the maintenance portion in a vertical direction and configured to receive waste liquid dripping from the maintenance portion, and a waste liquid flow path through which the waste liquid flows. The liquid discharge portion includes a nozzle configured to discharge the liquid in a discharge direction intersecting with the vertical direction. The reception portion includes a communication path that guides the received waste liquid to the waste liquid flow path. The communication path is provided at a lower portion of the reception portion.
