COMMUNICATION CONTROL APPARATUS, COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18393276 titled 'COMMUNICATION CONTROL APPARATUS, COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM

The communication control apparatus described in the patent application includes various units and interfaces to manage the sending of image packets and communication packets.

  • Generation unit creates image packets
  • Receiving unit accepts image packets
  • First sending unit sends first image packet via first communication interface
  • Second sending unit sends second image packet via first communication interface based on predetermined information
  • Control unit manages communication packets sent via second communication interface if first interface fails during sending

Potential Applications: - Communication systems - Data transmission technologies - Network management tools

Problems Solved: - Ensuring reliable transmission of image packets - Managing communication interfaces effectively - Handling failures in communication interfaces

Benefits: - Improved data transmission efficiency - Enhanced control over communication processes - Redundancy in case of interface failures

Commercial Applications: Title: Advanced Communication Control System for Enhanced Data Transmission This technology can be utilized in telecommunications, network infrastructure, and data centers to optimize data transmission processes and ensure reliable communication.

Questions about Communication Control Apparatus: 1. How does the apparatus determine the timing for sending the second image packet? The timing for sending the second image packet is based on the reception of predetermined information included in the first image packet. 2. What are the potential implications of using multiple communication interfaces in the apparatus? Using multiple communication interfaces allows for redundancy and ensures continuous data transmission even if one interface fails.

Original Abstract Submitted

A communication control apparatus includes a generation unit, a receiving unit, a first sending unit configured to cause a first image packet received by the receiving unit to be sent by a first communication interface included in a plurality of communication interfaces, a second sending unit configured to cause a second image packet generated by the generation unit to be sent by the first communication interface at timing that is based on reception of predetermined information included in the first image packet, and a control unit configured to, in a case where the first communication interface has become unable to perform sending during sending of the first image packet or the second image packet from the first communication interface, cause a communication packet including at least the predetermined information to be sent by a second communication interface included in the plurality of communication interfaces.
