An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a communication interface, a display, and at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to establish a communication connection to a head-mounted device according to a designated communication scheme through the communication interface, identify, based on a first content (C) to be displayed on the display, a second content (C) to be displayed in the head-mounted device, display, on the display based on identifying of the second content (C), first display data in which at least part of the identified second content (C) in the first content (C) is corrected, and transmit second display data related to the identified second content (C) to the head-mounted device through the communication interface.
