BUS BAR ASSEMBLY - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18377758 titled 'BUS BAR ASSEMBLY

The bus bar assembly described in the patent application consists of arc-shaped body portions with varying lengths, arranged in layers radially. These body portions have coil connection portions at predetermined intervals on their outer surfaces, connecting to a stator coil. Additionally, terminals are integrated into the body portions, protruding from one end in an axial direction and layered horizontally. Groove portions in the terminals help equalize wire resistance values between the body portions.

  • Arc-shaped body portions with different lengths
  • Coil connection portions at predetermined intervals on outer surfaces
  • Terminals integrated into body portions, protruding axially
  • Groove portions in terminals for equalizing wire resistance values
  • Layered arrangement in radial and horizontal directions

Potential Applications: - Electrical power distribution systems - Electric motor assemblies - Renewable energy systems

Problems Solved: - Equalizing wire resistance values - Efficient power distribution - Simplifying assembly processes

Benefits: - Improved electrical conductivity - Enhanced reliability - Cost-effective manufacturing

Commercial Applications: Title: "Innovative Bus Bar Assembly for Efficient Power Distribution" This technology can be utilized in various industries such as automotive, aerospace, and renewable energy sectors for improved power distribution and enhanced performance.

Questions about Bus Bar Assembly: 1. How does the integration of terminals in the body portions improve the efficiency of power distribution? 2. What are the key advantages of using arc-shaped body portions in the bus bar assembly?

Original Abstract Submitted

Disclosed herein is a bus bar assembly. The bus bar assembly according the present embodiment includes a plurality of arc-shape body portions provided with different lengths and disposed to be layered in a radial direction, coil connection portions formed integrally with the body portions and provided at predetermined intervals on outer peripheral surfaces of the body portions, and connected to a stator coil, and terminals formed integrally with the body portions and protruding from one end side of each of the body portions in an axial direction, and disposed to be layered in a horizontal direction, wherein one or more groove portions are provided in at least one of the terminals so that wire resistance values between the body portions are equalized.
