AIR CONDITIONER - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18377002 titled 'AIR CONDITIONER

The abstract describes an air conditioner with a main body and a blade for adjusting the direction of air flow.

  • The air conditioner has a main body with an outlet and a guide protrusion.
  • The blade can open and close the outlet, with a blade body that extends across the main body.
  • A guide rail on the blade allows for rotational adjustment of the air direction.
  • The guide rail is supported by the guide protrusion for smooth movement during rotation.

Potential Applications: - Residential air conditioning units - Commercial HVAC systems - Industrial cooling equipment

Problems Solved: - Efficiently control air direction - Improve air circulation in a room - Enhance cooling performance

Benefits: - Customizable air flow direction - Better air distribution - Energy savings through optimized cooling

Commercial Applications: Title: "Innovative Air Conditioner Blade for Enhanced Cooling Efficiency" This technology can be used in various air conditioning systems to improve air flow control and cooling performance, leading to increased energy efficiency and user comfort.

Questions about the technology: 1. How does the blade adjust the direction of air flow in the air conditioner? 2. What benefits does the guide rail provide in the blade design?

Original Abstract Submitted

An air conditioner including a main body including a first side, a second side opposite to the first side, an outlet between the first and second side, and a guide protrusion on the outlet; and a blade to open and close the outlet, the blade including a blade body extending from the first side to the second side of the main body when the outlet is closed by the blade, and a guide rail on a top surface of the blade body facing the outlet. The blade is configured so that the blade body is rotatable relative to the outlet to adjust a direction of air from the outlet, and the guide rail is supported by the guide protrusion to be slidable to guide at least one of a translational or a rotational movement of the blade body with respect to the main body during rotation of the blade body.
