The black glass-ceramic top plate for a cooking apparatus includes: a black glass-ceramic substrate including a chemically strengthened upper surface; a shielding region provided with a printed layer disposed under the black glass-ceramic substrate to block light transmission; and a transmissive region not provided with the printed layer under the black glass-ceramic substrate to transmit light, wherein the printed layer includes: a background printed layer disposed under the black glass-ceramic substrate; and a shielding printed layer disposed under the background printed layer.
