ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR PROVIDING EXERCISE PROGRAM USING MEDICAL DATA AND METHOD THEREFOR - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18370562 titled 'ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR PROVIDING EXERCISE PROGRAM USING MEDICAL DATA AND METHOD THEREFOR

Simplified Explanation

An electronic device is described that can receive medical data of a user from a server. The device includes a communication interface, at least one processor, and a memory. The processor is configured to determine if the user is in a rehabilitation condition based on the received medical data. If the user is in a rehabilitation condition, the processor provides an exercise program tailored to the user's recovery target. The processor also provides feedback on the exercise program based on exercise performance data, biometric information, or the user's exercise-related recovery level.

  • The electronic device receives medical data of a user from a server.
  • The device determines if the user is in a rehabilitation condition based on the received medical data.
  • If the user is in a rehabilitation condition, the device provides an exercise program for the user's recovery target.
  • The device provides feedback on the exercise program based on exercise performance data, biometric information, or the user's exercise-related recovery level.

Potential applications of this technology:

  • Rehabilitation monitoring and support for patients recovering from injuries or surgeries.
  • Remote healthcare monitoring and guidance for individuals undergoing rehabilitation.
  • Personalized exercise programs for individuals with specific recovery targets.

Problems solved by this technology:

  • Provides a convenient and efficient way to monitor and support individuals in rehabilitation.
  • Allows for personalized exercise programs tailored to the user's specific recovery target.
  • Enables remote monitoring and guidance, reducing the need for in-person visits.

Benefits of this technology:

  • Improved recovery outcomes for individuals in rehabilitation.
  • Enhanced convenience and accessibility for patients and healthcare providers.
  • Cost savings by reducing the need for frequent in-person visits.

Original Abstract Submitted

An electronic device includes: a communication interface configured to receive medical data of a user from a server; at least one processor electrically connected to the communication module; and a memory electrically connected to the at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to: determine whether the user is in a rehabilitation condition based on the received medical data; when the user is determined to be in the rehabilitation condition, provide an exercise program corresponding to a recovery target part of the user using the received medical data; and provide feedback on the exercise program based on at least one of exercise performance data, biometric information, or an exercise-related recovery level of the user.
