A method of managing an energy performance policy, EPP, for a user equipment, UE, over a network interface of a network, for example a New Radio, NR, network such as a 5G NR network, the method comprising: sending, by the Core Network, CN, for example the Access and Mobility Management Function, AMF, thereof, assistance information on the EPP for the UE to an NG-RAN node and/or to the UE using signalling and/or messages; and managing the EPP for the UE.
