Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may estimate a velocity of a target object. The UE may output a velocity estimation request. The UE may receive one or more of distributed estimation data or an estimated velocity associated with the target object, the distributed estimation data being collected by one or more anchor nodes and the estimated velocity being based on the distributed estimation data. Numerous other aspects are described.
