A video display system for displaying a display video via a display device includes: a VR device including the display device that displays the display video; an observation device proved in a mobile object to give the observation device mobility and including a capturing unit configured to capture video, a data obtaining unit configured to obtain data related to a movement speed of the capturing unit, and a transmission unit configured to transmit, together with the data, the video captured; a reception unit configured to receive video and the data; a video generation unit configured to generate the display video including the video received; and a presentation unit configured to cause the video generation unit to generate and output a graphic corresponding to the movement speed from the data received and superimpose the graphic to present the movement speed of the capturing unit.
