ELECTRICAL JUNCTION BOX - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18285620 titled 'ELECTRICAL JUNCTION BOX

The present disclosure aims to enhance heat dissipation performance in an electrical junction box.

  • The electrical junction box consists of a box main body assembled with a side wall member to a base member.
  • A busbar is housed in a busbar housing chamber within the side wall member.
  • A heat dissipation space is formed between the base member and the side wall member, allowing heat to dissipate to the outside of the box main body.
  • Heat in the busbar housing chamber passes through the heat dissipation space for efficient dissipation.

Potential Applications: - Electrical equipment manufacturing - Automotive industry - Renewable energy systems

Problems Solved: - Improved heat dissipation in electrical junction boxes - Enhanced performance and longevity of electrical components

Benefits: - Prevents overheating of electrical components - Increases overall efficiency and reliability - Reduces the risk of malfunctions or failures

Commercial Applications: Title: Enhanced Heat Dissipation Technology for Electrical Junction Boxes This technology can be utilized in various industries such as electronics manufacturing, automotive, and renewable energy sectors. It offers a solution to improve heat dissipation in electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.

Questions about Enhanced Heat Dissipation Technology for Electrical Junction Boxes: 1. How does this technology compare to traditional heat dissipation methods? This technology offers a more efficient way to dissipate heat compared to traditional methods by creating a dedicated heat dissipation space within the junction box.

2. What are the potential cost savings associated with implementing this technology? By preventing overheating and extending the lifespan of electrical components, this technology can lead to cost savings in maintenance and replacement of equipment.

Original Abstract Submitted

The present disclosure improves heat dissipation performance. An electrical junction box (A) includes: a box main body () constructed by assembling a side wall member () to an outer surface of a base member (); and a busbar () housed in a busbar housing chamber () of the side wall member (), and a heat dissipation space () that brings the busbar housing chamber () into communication with the outside of the box main body () is formed between the base member () and the side wall member (). Heat in the busbar housing chamber () passes through the heat dissipation space () and is thus dissipated to the outside of the box main body ().
