INFORMATION DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18271691 titled 'INFORMATION DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

Simplified Explanation: This patent application describes an information distribution system that allows a vehicle to access map information about a local network area before entering a privately owned land, reducing the time and effort required for authentication.

Key Features and Innovation:

  • Local server authenticates the vehicle in response to a connection request.
  • Local network base station provides map information to the authenticated vehicle.
  • Pre-authentication is performed when the vehicle arrives at an authentication start point.
  • Map information is provided before the vehicle enters the local network area.

Potential Applications: This technology can be applied in various industries such as transportation, logistics, and security systems where access to specific areas is restricted.

Problems Solved: This technology addresses the issue of vehicles needing to authenticate before entering privately owned land, saving time and effort for both the vehicle and the landowner.

Benefits:

  • Streamlined access process for vehicles.
  • Enhanced security measures for restricted areas.
  • Improved efficiency in managing vehicle entry.

Commercial Applications: Title: Enhanced Vehicle Access Control System This technology can be commercially used in gated communities, industrial facilities, and private estates to control and monitor vehicle access efficiently.

Prior Art: Readers can explore prior art related to vehicle access control systems, authentication processes, and information distribution systems in the field of transportation and security.

Frequently Updated Research: Stay updated on advancements in vehicle access control systems, authentication technologies, and information distribution systems for enhanced security and efficiency.

Questions about Vehicle Access Control Systems: 1. How does this technology improve the authentication process for vehicles entering restricted areas? 2. What are the potential security implications of implementing this information distribution system for vehicle access control?

Original Abstract Submitted

A vehicle is on the way to entering a privately owned land. If map information about a local network area is provided after the authentication of the vehicle, time and effort will be required for the vehicle to enter the privately owned land. To solve such a problem, an information distribution system, includes: a local server which authenticates in response to a connection request from the vehicle, and a local network base station which provides map information about a local network area, to the vehicle authenticated by the local server, wherein the local server performs a pre-authentication, according to the connection request from the vehicle, when the vehicle arrives at an authentication start point, located at a predetermined distance from the local network area, and the local network base station provides the map information about the local network area with the vehicle, before the vehicle enters the local network area.
