METHOD, DEVICE AND COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM OF COMMUNICATION - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18270155 titled 'METHOD, DEVICE AND COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM OF COMMUNICATION

Simplified Explanation

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices, and computer-readable media of communication. A terminal device receives a scheduling for a set of PUSCH transmissions in DCI from a network device. It determines a first subset of SRS resources in a first SRS resource set and a second subset of SRS resources in a second SRS resource set, where at most one of the subsets contains no SRS resource. The terminal device then transmits the set of PUSCH transmissions to the network device based on the selected subset of SRS resources. This approach provides a single DCI-based multi-TRP PUSCH repetition scheme with reduced overhead and increased flexibility.

  • Simplified Explanation:
 - Terminal device receives scheduling for PUSCH transmissions.
 - Determines subsets of SRS resources.
 - Transmits PUSCH transmissions based on selected subsets.
    • Potential Applications:

This technology can be applied in wireless communication systems to optimize resource allocation and improve transmission efficiency.

    • Problems Solved:

- Reduced overhead in PUSCH transmissions. - Increased flexibility in resource allocation.

    • Benefits:

- Enhanced transmission efficiency. - Improved system performance. - Better utilization of resources.

    • Potential Commercial Applications:

This technology can be utilized in 5G networks, IoT devices, and other wireless communication systems to enhance data transmission capabilities.

    • Possible Prior Art:

Prior art may include patents or publications related to resource allocation in wireless communication systems or methods for optimizing PUSCH transmissions.

      1. Unanswered Questions:
        1. How does this technology impact network latency?

The abstract does not provide information on the potential effects of this technology on network latency. Further research or testing may be needed to determine the impact.

        1. What are the specific technical requirements for implementing this innovation?

The abstract does not detail the specific technical requirements or constraints for implementing this technology. Additional information or documentation may be necessary for practical implementation.

Original Abstract Submitted

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices and computer readable media of communication. A terminal device receives, from a network device, a scheduling for a set of PUSCH transmissions in DCI, determines a first subset of SRS resources in a first SRS resource set and a second subset of SRS resources in a second SRS resource set, at most one of the first subset of SRS resources and the second subset of SRS resources comprising no SRS resource, and transmit, to a network device, the set of PUSCH transmissions based on the at least one of the first subset of SRS resources and the second subset of SRS resources. In this way, single DCI based multi-TRP PUSCH repetition scheme is provided with reduced overhead and increased flexibility.
