Embodiments of this application relate to the technical field of terminals, and disclosed are a Bluetooth connection method and a device, which can ensure both power saving of an electronic device and normal use of a vehicle key APP, thereby improving user experience. The method includes: A first device obtains first positioning information of the first device when a Bluetooth connection between a first application device and a second device application is broken, and creates a geo-fence based on the first positioning information. The first device obtains second positioning information of the first device. It is determined, based on the second positioning information, that the first device is in the geo-fence, and the first device sets, if the first application is in a deactivated state, a state of the first application from the deactivated state to a running state.
