DISPLAY PANEL - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18176082 titled 'DISPLAY PANEL

Simplified Explanation: The patent application describes a display panel with power signal lines that are designed to prevent damage due to large currents.

  • The display panel has a display area and a non-display area.
  • It includes power signal lines with a power signal input line on the non-display area, a power signal main line, and power signal sub-lines on the display area.
  • The power signal input line is connected to the power signal main line, with some sub-lines directly connected to the main line.
  • The input end of the power signal main line is wider than the sub-lines to prevent damage from large currents.

Key Features and Innovation:

  • Power signal lines designed to prevent damage from large currents.
  • Different widths of input end and sub-lines for protection.
  • Direct connection of sub-lines to main line for efficient power distribution.

Potential Applications: The technology can be used in various display panels, electronic devices, and systems requiring efficient power distribution.

Problems Solved:

  • Damage to power signal main line due to large currents.
  • Inefficient power distribution in display panels.

Benefits:

  • Improved reliability and durability of display panels.
  • Efficient power distribution for electronic devices.
  • Enhanced performance and longevity of systems.

Commercial Applications: The technology can be applied in the manufacturing of display panels for consumer electronics, industrial equipment, and automotive displays, enhancing their reliability and performance.

Questions about Display Panel Technology: 1. How does the wider input end of the power signal main line prevent damage from large currents? 2. What are the potential applications of this technology beyond display panels?

Frequently Updated Research: Ongoing research focuses on optimizing the design of power signal lines for even greater efficiency and protection against power surges.

Original Abstract Submitted

A display panel is provided by the present application. The display panel includes a display area and a non-display area. The display panel includes a plurality of power signal lines. Each of the power signal lines includes a power signal input line arranged on the non-display area, a power signal main line and a plurality of power signal sub-lines arranged on the display area. The power signal input line is connected to the power signal main line. At least part of the power signal sub-lines are directly connected to the power signal main line. a width of an input end of the power signal main line is wider than a width each of the power signal sub-lines. The width of the input end of the power signal main line is increased by an embodiment, which can avoid the power signal main line damage due to large current.
