MAP AWARE SAFETY SYSTEM - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18165526 titled 'MAP AWARE SAFETY SYSTEM
Simplified Explanation: The patent application describes systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support a sensing charging subscription. It involves transmitting alerts based on location and path information to model multiple paths associated with an intersection region.
- Utilizes first location information associated with a mobile entity
- Transmits alerts based on location and path information
- Models multiple paths, including curved paths, using path information
- Defines multiple line segments to represent paths
- Supports a sensing charging subscription
Potential Applications: 1. Smart city infrastructure for traffic management 2. Autonomous vehicle navigation systems 3. Location-based advertising and marketing 4. Emergency response and public safety communication 5. Fleet management and logistics optimization
Problems Solved: 1. Efficient wireless communication in complex urban environments 2. Enhanced location-based services for mobile entities 3. Improved intersection navigation for vehicles and pedestrians 4. Seamless integration of sensing and charging capabilities 5. Enhanced user experience through targeted alerts
Benefits: 1. Increased safety and efficiency in navigation 2. Enhanced user experience with personalized alerts 3. Improved traffic flow and congestion management 4. Seamless integration of location-based services 5. Potential for cost savings through optimized routing
Commercial Applications: The technology could be applied in smart city infrastructure, autonomous vehicles, location-based advertising, emergency response systems, and fleet management. It has the potential to revolutionize wireless communication in urban environments and enhance various industries' operational efficiency.
Questions about Wireless Communication Technology: 1. How does the technology differentiate between various paths in an intersection region? 2. What are the potential privacy concerns associated with transmitting location-based alerts to mobile entities?
Original Abstract Submitted
This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support a sensing charging subscription. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving first location information associated with a first mobile entity. The method also includes transmitting an alert based on the first location information and path information configured to model multiple paths associated with an intersection region. The multiple paths include a first path that is curved. The path information defines multiple line segments to model the first path. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.
