SWITCHING CIRCUIT FOR SWITCHING SIGNAL PATH IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE COMPRISING SAME - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18165006 titled 'SWITCHING CIRCUIT FOR SWITCHING SIGNAL PATH IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE COMPRISING SAME

Simplified Explanation

The abstract describes a 5th generation (5G) or pre-5G communication system that supports higher data rates compared to previous 4th generation (4G) systems. It introduces a switching circuit in a wireless communication system that includes coils and switches controlled by a control unit.

  • The switching circuit consists of multiple coils and switches.
  • The first coil is electrically coupled to the second coil, and the third coil is electrically coupled to the first coil.
  • The first switch is connected to the second coil, and the second switch is connected to the third coil.
  • The control unit is responsible for controlling the opening and closing of the switches.
  • The control unit can close the first switch and open the second switch to create a first path using the first and second coils.
  • Alternatively, the control unit can open the first switch and close the second switch to create a second path using the first and third coils.

Potential Applications:

  • This technology can be applied in 5G or pre-5G communication systems to support higher data rates.
  • It can be used in wireless networks to improve connectivity and enhance communication capabilities.

Problems Solved:

  • The switching circuit solves the problem of achieving higher data rates in wireless communication systems.
  • It addresses the need for improved connectivity and faster transmission speeds in 5G or pre-5G networks.

Benefits:

  • The switching circuit allows for the creation of multiple paths using different coil combinations, enhancing the efficiency of data transmission.
  • It enables higher data rates and improved connectivity, leading to faster and more reliable communication.
  • The control unit provides flexibility in managing the switches, allowing for optimized performance based on network conditions.

Original Abstract Submitted

A 5th generation (5G) or pre-5G communication system for supporting a higher data rate than previous 4th generation (4G) communication systems is provided. A switching circuit in a wireless communication system is provided. The switching circuit includes a first coil, a second coil electrically coupled to the first coil, a first switch electrically connected to the second coil, a third coil electrically coupled to the first coil, a second switch electrically connected to the third coil, and a control unit configured to control the opening or closing of the first switch and the second switch. The control unit can be configured to close the first switch and open the second switch to form a first path using the first coil and the second coil, and open the first switch and close the second switch to form a second path using the first coil and the third coil.
