The electronic device includes a display and a processor, wherein the processor senses an input of an electronic pen and responds to the input of the electronic pen to display an electronic pen pointer on the display, confirms first information related to visual characteristics of the electronic pen pointer, confirms second information related to electronic pen situation information and/or display situation information, compares the first information to the second information to determine the direction and coordinates for changing the position of the electronic pen pointer, and can perform control so that the displaying of the electronic pen pointer is changed to the determined direction and coordinates.
