According to aspects herein, methods and systems for management of a scam likely communication and a networks response therein. A network may identify that an incoming communication is likely to be a scam and send that communication to a scam response component rather than the intended user device. The scam response component may then initiate a scam response BOT to respond and initiate interactions with the scam likely sender. The scam response BOT is designed to maximize the time spent on the communication by the scam likely sender.
