A chassis for a convertible infant car seat and stroller assembly is provided comprising: a frame; a pair of rear legs pivotally coupled to the frame and a pair of front legs, each pivotally coupled to a respective rear leg. The rear legs and the front legs are retracted and proximate the frame in a first transport condition usable as in infant car seat, and are deployable away from the frame to a second transport condition usable as a stroller. At least a first spring is coupled between the frame and the front legs, the first spring providing a biasing force to pivot the front legs towards the first transport condition.
