SPLIT EDGE CARGO NET - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18076659 titled 'SPLIT EDGE CARGO NET
The patent application describes a splitable cargo net consisting of a flexible netting surrounded by a perimeter cord or band. The netting is divided into sections to create split edges, allowing for easy customization and adjustment.
- The cargo net includes a top section that is vertically divided into left and right sections, creating split edges for each.
- There is a bottom section and a centerline cord running horizontally between the top and bottom sections.
- Alternatively, the netting can be vertically divided into left and right sections, connected by a perpendicular connecting part of the perimeter cord.
Potential Applications: - Securing cargo in trucks, trailers, or other vehicles - Organizing items in storage spaces - Creating barriers or partitions in various settings
Problems Solved: - Simplifies the process of securing and organizing cargo - Allows for easy customization and adjustment based on the size and shape of the items being transported
Benefits: - Increased efficiency in cargo management - Enhanced safety by preventing items from shifting during transport - Versatile and adaptable to different cargo sizes and shapes

Original Abstract Submitted
Provided is splitable cargo net. The cargo net includes a flexible netting surrounded by a perimeter cord or band. The flexible netting includes 1) a top section substantially vertically divided into a left top section and a right top section, thereby creating split edges for each of the left top section and the right top section at a location where the sections are divided; 2) a bottom section; and 3) a centerline cord that runs the cargo net substantially horizontally between the top section and the bottom section. Alternatively, the flexible netting is substantially vertically divided into a left section and a right section, thereby creating split edges for each of the left section and the right section at a location where the sections are divided; and the left section and the right section are connected by a connecting part of the perimeter cord or band that runs substantially perpendicularly to the split edges.
