For instance, a process can include determining a number of multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) paths to be used for transmission of a message, identifying, from a set of possible MIMO paths, a plurality of MIMO paths for allocation of transmit power based on the number of MIMO paths to be used and a physical layer security configuration, and allocating the transmit power across the plurality of MIMO paths to transmit a message.
