INFORMATION TRANSMISSION METHOD AND APPARATUS - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 17990416 titled 'INFORMATION TRANSMISSION METHOD AND APPARATUS

Simplified Explanation

Abstract Explanation

The abstract describes a method and apparatus for transmitting information. The method involves generating a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) with a certain bandwidth and rotating the fields within the PPDU using a rotation factor sequence. The PPDU is then sent to a second communications device.

  • The method involves generating a PPDU with a bandwidth greater than 160 MHz.
  • The fields within the PPDU are rotated using a rotation factor sequence.
  • The bandwidth is divided into multiple smaller bandwidths, each corresponding to a rotation factor.
  • The PPDU is sent to a second communications device.

Potential Applications

  • Wireless communication systems
  • Internet of Things (IoT) devices
  • Mobile communication networks

Problems Solved

  • Efficient transmission of information over a wide bandwidth
  • Improved data transfer rates
  • Enhanced communication reliability

Benefits

  • Higher bandwidth allows for faster data transmission
  • Rotating fields within the PPDU improves signal quality
  • Improved communication performance and reliability

Original Abstract Submitted

Embodiments of this application provide information transmission methods and apparatuses. One method includes: generating, by a first communications device, a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) with a bandwidth of X MHz, wherein X>160, some or all fields in the PPDU are rotated in the bandwidth of X MHz by using a rotation factor sequence, the bandwidth of X MHz comprises n bandwidths ofY MHz, the rotation factor sequence comprises n rotation factors, and each of the n bandwidths corresponds to one rotation factor; and sending, by the first communications device , the PPDU to a second communications device.
