SYSTEMS FOR POD MOVERS - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 17878328 titled 'SYSTEMS FOR POD MOVERS
Simplified Explanation
The patent application describes a system consisting of a main vehicle and a secondary vehicle that can be coupled to the main vehicle. The secondary vehicle has a wheel for movement and a body connected to the wheel. The body includes a set of retractable bars that can extend into receivers of the main vehicle when in a deactivated state. The retractable bars can also be retracted into the body and extend into a pod to lift and attach the pod when in an attached state.
- The system includes a main vehicle and a secondary vehicle that can be connected together.
- The secondary vehicle has a wheel for movement and a body attached to the wheel.
- The body of the secondary vehicle contains a set of retractable bars.
- The retractable bars can extend into receivers of the main vehicle when not in use.
- The retractable bars can be retracted into the body of the secondary vehicle.
- The retractable bars can also extend into a pod and lift the pod when attached.
Potential Applications:
- Transportation systems where a secondary vehicle can be attached to a main vehicle for additional functionality or carrying capacity.
- Delivery systems where a secondary vehicle can be used to transport packages or goods and easily attach to a main delivery vehicle.
- Emergency response systems where a secondary vehicle can be quickly connected to a main vehicle to provide additional equipment or resources.
Problems Solved:
- Provides a convenient and efficient way to connect and disconnect a secondary vehicle to a main vehicle.
- Allows for easy transportation of additional items or equipment without the need for separate vehicles.
- Simplifies the process of attaching and detaching a pod or cargo container to a vehicle.
Benefits:
- Increased flexibility and versatility in transportation systems.
- Improved efficiency in delivery and logistics operations.
- Enhanced emergency response capabilities with the ability to quickly attach additional resources.
