DISPLAY SUBSTRATE AND DISPLAY DEVICE - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 17772955 titled 'DISPLAY SUBSTRATE AND DISPLAY DEVICE

Simplified Explanation

The present disclosure provides a display substrate and a display device, belonging to the field of display technologies. The display substrate includes a base substrate, pixels, gate lines, and data lines. The base substrate has transparent regions and display regions alternating in a first direction. The pixels are within the display regions, arranged in a second direction, and each pixel includes multiple sub-pixels arranged in two rows. The gate lines and data lines are on the base substrate, with the gate lines extending along the first direction and the data lines along the second direction.

  • Base substrate with transparent and display regions alternating in a first direction
  • Pixels within display regions, arranged in a second direction with multiple sub-pixels in two rows
  • Gate lines and data lines on the base substrate, extending along the first and second directions respectively
