DISPLAY SUBSTRATE AND DISPLAY APPARATUS - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 17758085 titled 'DISPLAY SUBSTRATE AND DISPLAY APPARATUS

Simplified Explanation

The abstract describes a display substrate with sub-pixels arranged in rows and columns, driven by pixel driving circuits. The substrate includes initialization signal lines for transmitting signals to the driving transistors and light-emitting devices of the sub-pixels.

  • The display substrate includes a plurality of sub-pixels arranged in M pixel rows and N pixel columns.
  • Pixel driving circuits consist of transistors and light-emitting devices, with driving transistors controlling the sub-pixels.
  • The first initialization signal line transmits signals to the control electrode of driving transistors in the M row of sub-pixels.
  • The second initialization signal line transmits signals to the first electrode of the light-emitting device in the (M-1) row of sub-pixels.
