OVEN - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240318830 titled 'OVEN

The patent application describes an oven with innovative features to improve air circulation and steam detection during cooking.

  • Inner and outer cabinets create a cooling passage for external air to pass through.
  • An air exhaust apparatus is located between the inner and outer cabinets.
  • A filter on the upper side of the inner cabinet allows air from the cooking chamber to pass through.
  • A pressure regulating duct on the upper side of the inner cabinet directs air towards the cooling passage.
  • A sensing pipe in the air exhaust apparatus measures the amount of steam in the air passing through it.

Potential Applications: - This technology can be applied in commercial ovens to enhance cooking efficiency and food quality. - It can also be used in industrial baking ovens to improve steam management during the baking process.

Problems Solved: - Improved air circulation helps maintain consistent cooking temperatures. - Efficient steam detection ensures better control over the cooking environment.

Benefits: - Enhanced cooking performance and food quality. - Increased energy efficiency and reduced cooking times. - Better steam management for improved baking results.

Commercial Applications: Title: Innovative Oven Technology for Enhanced Cooking Performance This technology can be utilized in commercial kitchens, restaurants, bakeries, and food production facilities to improve cooking processes and food quality.

Prior Art: Further research can be conducted in the field of oven technology, specifically focusing on air circulation and steam detection systems in cooking appliances.

Frequently Updated Research: Stay updated on advancements in oven technology, particularly in the areas of air circulation, steam management, and cooking efficiency.

Questions about Oven Technology: 1. How does the steam sensor in the oven work? The steam sensor in the oven measures the amount of steam in the air passing through the sensing pipe, providing valuable data for controlling the cooking environment.

2. What are the benefits of improved air circulation in ovens? Enhanced air circulation in ovens helps maintain consistent cooking temperatures, leading to better cooking results and energy efficiency.

Original Abstract Submitted

an oven including an inner cabinet forming a cooking chamber; an outer cabinet, to surround the inner cabinet so as to form a cooling passage through which external air passes; an air exhaust apparatus between the outer cabinet and the inner cabinet; a filter arrangeable on the upper side of the inner cabinet such that air from the cooking chamber passes through to the filter; a pressure regulating duct arrangeable on the upper side of the inner cabinet such that air having passed through the filter passes toward the cooling passage; a sensing pipe, arrangeable in the air exhaust apparatus, on the upper side of the filter such that air from the filter passes through a space above the filter and the cooling passage; and a steam sensor, arrangeable in the sensing pipe and measuring the amount of steam contained in the air passing through the sensing pipe.
