an air compressor system having a compressor with an air inlet and an air outlet. an air filter is located in an air filter housing, and filters air before it is fed to the air inlet of the compressor. a first connector defined by the housing to be connected to a first air hose is furthermore provided for the purposes of intake and discharge of air from the air outlet of the compressor into the surroundings. the air to be discharged is conducted into the housing of the air filter into a prechamber, and thereafter is guided via the first connector into the surroundings.
