AEROSOL GENERATION DEVICE - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18745011 titled 'AEROSOL GENERATION DEVICE

Simplified Explanation: The patent application describes an aerosol generation device that includes a heating unit powered by a battery, a display unit showing the status of the device, and a control unit that displays the remaining capacity of the aerosol source and battery on the screen.

Key Features and Innovation:

  • Heating unit powered by a battery for aerosol generation.
  • Display unit showing remaining capacity of aerosol source and battery.
  • Control unit displaying one component in a non-flashing state and the other in a flashing state based on their remaining capacity.

Potential Applications: This technology could be used in various aerosol delivery systems, such as inhalers or air fresheners, where monitoring the remaining capacity of the aerosol source and battery is crucial.

Problems Solved:

  • Provides a visual representation of the remaining capacity of both the aerosol source and battery.
  • Alerts users when one component is running low while the other is still sufficient.

Benefits:

  • Helps users easily monitor the status of the aerosol generation device.
  • Prevents unexpected depletion of the aerosol source or battery.

Commercial Applications: The technology could be applied in medical devices, consumer electronics, and household products where aerosol generation is required.

Questions about Aerosol Generation Device: 1. How does the control unit determine when to display one component in a flashing state? 2. What are the potential safety implications of using a battery-powered heating unit in an aerosol generation device?

Frequently Updated Research: Stay updated on advancements in battery technology and aerosol delivery systems to enhance the efficiency and performance of the device.

Original Abstract Submitted

An aerosol generation device has a heating unit powered by a battery and heats an aerosol source, a display unit displays a status of the aerosol generation device, and a control unit controls the display unit in a manner such that an image which includes a first display element representing the remaining capacity of the aerosol source and a second display element representing the remaining capacity of the battery is displayed, wherein the control unit controls in a manner such that when the remaining capacity of one component from among the aerosol source and the battery is not equal to or lower than a threshold and the remaining capacity of the other component therefrom is equal to or lower than the threshold, the display element represents a remaining capacity for one component in a non-flashing state and a remaining capacity for the other component in a flashing state.
