OVEN - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18735781 titled 'OVEN
The patent application describes an oven with a unique design to improve air circulation and filtering within the cooking chamber.
- Inner cabinet forms the cooking chamber, while the outer cabinet surrounds it to create a cooling passage for external air.
- Air exhaust apparatus between the inner and outer cabinets helps regulate air flow.
- Filter on the upper side of the inner cabinet allows air from the cooking chamber to pass through for purification.
- Pressure regulating duct on the upper side of the inner cabinet directs filtered air towards the cooling passage.
- Sensing pipe in the air exhaust apparatus measures steam content in the air passing through, enhancing safety and efficiency.
Potential Applications: - Commercial kitchens - Residential ovens - Industrial baking facilities
Problems Solved: - Improved air quality in the cooking chamber - Enhanced safety measures with steam sensing technology
Benefits: - Better cooking results - Reduced energy consumption - Increased longevity of the oven
Commercial Applications: Title: Enhanced Air Circulation Oven Technology This technology can be used in various commercial settings such as restaurants, bakeries, and food production facilities to improve cooking efficiency and safety measures.
Questions about the technology: 1. How does the steam sensor enhance the performance of the oven? The steam sensor helps monitor the moisture levels in the cooking chamber, ensuring optimal cooking conditions and preventing potential hazards.
2. What are the advantages of having a pressure regulating duct in the oven? The pressure regulating duct helps maintain a balanced airflow within the oven, leading to more consistent cooking results and energy efficiency.
Original Abstract Submitted
An oven including an inner cabinet forming a cooking chamber; an outer cabinet, to surround the inner cabinet so as to form a cooling passage through which external air passes; an air exhaust apparatus between the outer cabinet and the inner cabinet; a filter arrangeable on the upper side of the inner cabinet such that air from the cooking chamber passes through to the filter; a pressure regulating duct arrangeable on the upper side of the inner cabinet such that air having passed through the filter passes toward the cooling passage; a sensing pipe, arrangeable in the air exhaust apparatus, on the upper side of the filter such that air from the filter passes through a space above the filter and the cooling passage; and a steam sensor, arrangeable in the sensing pipe and measuring the amount of steam contained in the air passing through the sensing pipe.
