Original Abstract Submitted

A secondary battery includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolytic solution. The positive electrode includes a positive electrode active material. The electrolytic solution includes an electrolyte salt. The positive electrode active material includes a lithium-containing compound, lithium carbonate, and lithium hydroxide. A content of lithium carbonate in the positive electrode active material is greater than or equal to 0.2 wt % and less than or equal to 0.7 wt %. A content of lithium hydroxide in the positive electrode active material is greater than or equal to 0.2 wt % and less than or equal to 0.7 wt %. The electrolyte salt includes an imide anion, and the imide anion includes at least one of a first imide anion represented by Formula (1), a second imide anion represented by Formula (2), a third imide anion represented by Formula (3), or a fourth imide anion represented by Formula (4).
