DISHWASHER - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18598440 titled 'DISHWASHER
The abstract describes a dishwasher with various components such as a tub, door, dispenser, exhaust, rack, spray arm, magnet, and sensor.
- The dishwasher has a tub that houses the washing compartment.
- The door opens and closes the washing compartment and has a dispenser for detergent.
- An exhaust in the door discharges air in the washing compartment.
- A rack is placed inside the washing compartment for holding dishes.
- A spray arm sprays wash water towards the rack and is rotatably placed in the washing compartment.
- A magnet is attached to the spray arm.
- A sensor in the door detects the magnetic force of the magnet.
- The door also includes a door cover and a door liner facing the washing compartment.
- The exhaust and sensor are positioned between the door cover and the door liner, with the sensor located between the exhaust and the dispenser.
Potential Applications: - Household dishwashing - Commercial dishwashing services
Problems Solved: - Efficient cleaning of dishes - Proper distribution of detergent and wash water - Detection of spray arm movement
Benefits: - Improved dishwashing performance - Energy efficiency - Enhanced user experience
Commercial Applications: - Kitchen appliance industry - Restaurant and catering businesses
Questions about the dishwasher technology: 1. How does the sensor detect the magnetic force of the magnet? 2. What are the potential cost implications of integrating this technology into dishwashers?
