Original Abstract Submitted

A puncture device includes: a puncture needle; and an operation part that moves the puncture needle in an axial direction and is attachable to and detachable from an ultrasonic endoscope. The operation part includes a gripping member that is interlocked with the puncture needle and whose outer peripheral surface is exposed, a first member that is connected to the gripping member and is movable relative to the gripping member in the axial direction, and a restricting member that restricts a relative movable maximum distance between the first member and the gripping member, and the outer peripheral surface of the gripping member has a shape including a pair of first planes that are arranged in a first direction and are disposed to face each other, and a pair of second planes that are arranged in a second direction intersecting the first direction and are disposed to face each other.
