An image processing apparatus obtains a first LUT for a predetermined format conversion and applying an effect of desired color conversion, obtains a second LUT for applying an effect of the predetermined format conversion, of an effect of the first LUT, sets an influence of a LUT to be applied to a first image for processing, combines the first LUT and the second LUT on a basis of the influence to generate a third LUT, and performs color conversion on the first image using the third LUT.
