Original Abstract Submitted

A battery system includes a first battery, a second battery, a first charging inlet, a charger, and an electric circuit. The electric circuit is configured to be able to selectively establish one of a plurality of circuit structures including at least a first charging circuit structure and a first balancing circuit structure by selectively turning the plurality of switches on and off. In the first charging circuit structure, the first charging inlet is electrically connected to a first end of the charger while the first battery and the second battery are electrically connected to a second end of the charger. In the first balancing circuit structure, the first battery is electrically connected to the first end of the charger while the second battery is electrically connected to the second end of the charger.
