WIRING MEMBER - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18571973 titled 'WIRING MEMBER

The abstract describes a wiring member with two connectors, two wire-like transmission members, and a sheet to which the transmission members are fixed. The transmission members extend in parallel on the sheet, with a split line between them.

  • The wiring member includes two connectors, two wire-like transmission members, and a sheet.
  • The transmission members are fixed to the sheet and extend in parallel to each other.
  • A split line is formed in the sheet between the transmission members.
  • The split line extends between the transmission members and reaches an edge of the sheet.
  • The wiring member allows for organized and efficient transmission of electrical signals.

Original Abstract Submitted

A wiring member includes a first connector, a second connector, a first wire-like transmission member connected to the first connector, a second wire-like transmission member connected to the second connector, and a sheet to which the first wire-like transmission member and the second wire-like transmission member are fixed. The first and second wire-like transmission members extend on the sheet in parallel to each other so that an end portion of the first wire-like transmission member connected to the first connector and an end portion of the second wire-like transmission member connected to the second connector are directed to a first end portion of the sheet. A split line for splitting the sheet is formed in the sheet, the split line extends between the first wire-like transmission member and the second wire-like transmission member, and one end portion of the split line reaches an edge of the first end portion.
